Initially he interacted with the crew, through a wall console, until they made an artificial android body. He controls wirelessly every device on the Toronto. Ned accounted for almost 25 % of the Toronto's total developmental costs, with custom processors for the consciousness algorithms. Later he controls the entire factory requiring only a crew of 80 for the rest.
