The Dji-Fadh or Formers are a Jirinaar guild of Iskai magicians, architects, artists, and artisans. They are focusing on forming living plant material to create permanent structures such as plumbing, lamps and even entire houses of it. Contrary to the Dji-Kas they do this through a natural process without the aid of Triifalai seeds. Younger Iskai consider the Dji-Fadh stuffy and uninteresting.

History[]

Near 2080, the guild was run by Argim. Despite his passion, he wasn't selected as one of the Chosen, and in his fury, he destroyed the old Dji-Fadh building, which was located outside the city that time, into a strange place teeming with dangerous creatures.

The head of the guild was Akiir, being succeeded by Bradir.

Known members[]

Building[]

The guild house is located in the northwestern part of Jirinaar and continues to grow since the incident with Argim. The eastern and southern wings contain previews of the guild's art, while the western wing is the teaching area and the northern wing contains chambers of the guild's members.

Products[]

The Dji-Fadh create fountains by growing a plant with very thick roots deep into the earth, then provide powerful suction chambers that force the water upward. Special care must be given so that the plant juices not get into the water. Because of the long roots it takes a long time and makes such a fountain an expensive device.

Sofas[]

Plant sofa

Large sofas are made of living plant tissue. They are soft and elastic. If damaged, they can easily regenerate.

Sewage basins[]

Sewage basin

The waste water from the house is collected through a system of pipes into a basin containing purifying plants, and then sent to river through underground canals.

Toilets[]

Plant toilet

Giant plant toilets process fecal material rapidly and almost without odor. Being constantly fertilized, they only need to be watched that they don't grow too large.

Fountains[]

Plant fountain

Fountain plants slowly grow very thick long roots. They are provided with suction chambers that force the water upward. The hardest thing is maintaining the neutral taste of the water. The current form of fountains was invented by Krai.
